Parking On Campus

A number of parking spaces are designated for students with disabilities on the main campus. To apply for a handicapped parking space, contact the Academic Resource Center to discuss the necessary requirements. Vehicles parking in these spaces are required to display special decals and identification. Only vehicles with the special tags or decals are authorized to park in the spaces reserved for persons with disabilities. Please note: The handicapped decals are issued by the state transportation office in which the owner's car is registered. The University does not issue handicapped parking decals.

Parking is also available on campus for special visitors (interpreters, mobility instructors, attendants, etc.). Parking permits for such people can be arranged by contacting the Academic Resource Center at least seven (7) days in advance with information on who will be coming, when they will be coming, what type of car they will be driving, and the license plate number of the car. Rates are determined on an individual basis and in consultation with the Office of Transportation Management.
